Luke Riding Bike (no training wheels)

So this isn't recent - it was the first full day off for summer vacation - but some of you may not have seen pictures of this.  Out of the blue, Luke announced he was ready to ride his bike without training wheels.  So we did...

It took 10-15 minutes of me running behind him holding the seat and eventually he said "let go dad"...so I did, and off he went.

He then rode around the block for about an hour.  He had achieved a bit of freedom....that night, he rode his bike to his first T-Ball game.

And yes, his chin strap has been tightened (Missy).  His bike is too small for him, but he's been using it most of the summer.

Though recently he's been using something like a scooter that he received from Pam, maybe I'll get some of that posted, it's interesting looking...
