Carver County Fair

The Carver County Fair is this week.  So what do you do these days at the fair with younger kids?

1.  You practice milking a cow.

2.  You go to the horse barn to touch as many as you can.

3.  You challenge your mom and sister to slide races.

Now was the winner the first one down or the one that went the farthest?

4.  You climb on some tractors.

5.  You ride some rides.

6.  You take in a raptor show by the Raptor Center.

and enjoy holding the Great Horned Owl's legs (not everyone enjoyed the Red-Tailed Hawks legs).

7.  You kiss as many animals (llamas, goats, sheep, etc.) as you can.

8.  You find some more rides.

9.  You're thankful that your brother is not allowed to drive you around just yet.

10.  You wish you were inside the grandstand for the tractor pull.

11.  You take 'selfies' from the top of the Ferris Wheel...all the kids are doing it anyway.

12.  Of course you eat.  The approximate count:  cheese curds (2), hamburgers (2), french fries, shakes (2), a sundae, multiple glasses of milk, etc.
