Lukie's Happy Place...

I put this on Facebook last night, but now Lukie is in his happy place...he had a real busy day yesterday and loved it.  It started with Day 1 of a basketball camp in the morning that he had been looking forward to and then the pool opened for the summer in the afternoon (and he couldn't wait to get back up there).  In the evening he had his second baseball game of the year, which he always likes, but what he was really looking forward to was Town Team baseball...

We hadn't made a Cologne Hollanders (or any town team game) yet this spring.  Lukie knew there was a game that started at 7:30 (his game started at 7:15) and we said we'd try to make the game afterwards.  His game ended around 8:50 or so and we headed to Cologne...we decided we'd drive by the game and see what inning it was in, me making the point that if it's in the 7th inning or later it might not be worth stopping...Lukie yelled when he saw the scoreboard "it's the 6th inning!"

And we stopped at the game...

Great night for a ballgame...of course what Lukie was after was foul balls, because at town team games you get paid...

He ended up with 3 foul balls in 3 innings ($.75 for the night) and even Lex got a foul ball, much to Lukie's chagrin earning her a quarter...a good day...
