Sea Life...

This past week was Teacher's Appreciation week at Sea Life...meaning that teachers got in free and their guests were 50% off...this means that Lukie/Lex/I could go for ~$16 total...a huge steal...

It starts with a touch pool...sea stars, anemones, urchins, etc. are all there..

It took some convincing to get Lex to touch this sea urchin...

The ray pool is cool, we were there too late to feed the rays but we all like watching them...

One cool part of the ray pool are the 2-3 stations that have underwater cameras...they love using these...

There's a nice exhibit on Jellyfish...though I never take enough pictures of these (according to Lex)...

If you're small enough, you can get right into a coral reef exhibit...like Lukie just did...

Lex on the other hand, just couldn't remember to turn towards me for a picture...those darn fish swimming past...

After going through a long underwater tunnel (sharks, etc.), you walk through a Rainforest exhibit...here Lukie wanted to look tough with the Caiman in the background...

After the SeaLife experience, we went to dinner at the Rainforest Cafe...Lex's first time...

She loved looking for all of the animals and when it 'rained', she was incredibly excited...
