Raider Volleyball Playoffs start...

So the Raider Volleyball team have started their playoff run and of course we were at the first game...it was a bit tense as it went five sets (they played the same team last week and won in three), but they won and moved on...

I've said before how much Lukie looks up to a player, she's the one serving in the picture above.  Because of the relationship that he has with her, he's faced with a real dilemma for the next game.  The next playoff game is Tuesday night, Halloween...he's known there was potential for a Halloween game for a couple of weeks and we decided to wait until we knew for sure that there would be a game (we all assumed that there would be)...

I told Lukie and Lex that it was their decision if they wanted to trick-or-treat or go to the game, the game starts at 6:00 in New Prague...after the first playoff game, both said they wanted to go to the game...

So Halloween night we'll be in New Prague watching volleyball.  The kids will both be decked out in their costumes and afterwards, we'll probably hit up a few neighborhoods in New Prague or Belle Plaine and see what they have to offer...

It was cool to see after this game how she made a point of talking to Lukie briefly, I talked to her for a few minutes (her mother for a lot longer after that) and thanked her, again, on how she is with him.  I get the idea that she enjoys knowing him just as much as he enjoys knowing her...I know she has a fan for life...
