Raider Volleyball continued...

So back in late August I had a post of Luke's (and Lex's) first ever volleyball game because one of the players had asked Luke if he was going to come...well the regular season is now over and we went to 11 volleyball games (the team was 10-1 in those games)...

The Raider girls are currently ranked #8 in the state, they've set a school record for wins in a season and now are something like 24-2.  They've been fun to watch...

Luke and Lex have certainly enjoyed watching them...

The picture above was from last week against Sibley East in Arlington...

Here's one from last night in Norwood...Lukie was focused on the game...

Lukie generally pays pretty close attention to his favorite player that is very good to him...

On Senior night last week, each player threw a t-shirt into the stands -- when it came time for his favorite player to throw hers, she threw it on a direct line to Lukie (it would've hit him in the face) only to have a lady jump up and grab it...man was Lukie upset (and so was the player when I talked to her a few days later)...Lukie was so made he had tears welling up and kept saying "that shirt is not hers..."

Good news is the playoffs start next week and the team has a legit shot at making the state tournament.  Both Luke and Lex have invested so much in this team this far, they're excited to see how far they can go...
