Summer...

Memorial Day weekend is the unofficial start of summer, right?  Well, the weather has been so nice the last few days, we kicked it off with a campfire...

And Lukie wanted marshmallows...

And graham crackers (no chocolate)...

Lex has to stay a little farther back from the fire...

But standing back means less start on fire...

Since we're not in the woods, Lukie was watching Indiana Jones and the Temple of Doom while by the fire...

Lex was just fine eating...

When Lex wanted more, Lukie took charge because Lex "wasn't putting them on fast enough.'

But he did have her make them (he had a movie to watch anyway)...

Then Lukie decided he wanted more too...

One burned, one was fit to eat...

We stayed out pretty late, long after nightfall...past the first star...a good night...
