Vaccinations...

I picked Lukie and Lex from school today, it was the first day of their after school Spanish class that they've taken for several years now...Lex was excited to show me the picture board at school showing the recent character trait winners...

The excited was ended quickly when she remembered they were getting flu shots this afternoon...there was some yelling and crying...then the needle actually touched her arm...

After some quiet time with the wall, she was fine...of course Lukie was like "Lexy...this is how you get a shot."

He took directions well, concentrated on a poster across the room and barely felt it...

Bring on flu season now...we're ready...
