Raider Girls Basketball

So the kids and I have been attending quite a few girls (and some boys) basketball games the last few months and they've really taken to it (not too surprising with Kieran, but Luke and Lex too)....

The section playoffs started last Tuesday --- the Raiders are seeded #1 --- and there was an autograph session afterwards...it was a hit...

I'm pretty sure that none of the kids said anything but 'thanks' as they went through the line, but they really loved it...all three have these nearly identical pictures...

They won the section opening game 72-21...yeah...that big.  The second round game was last Friday in Prior Lake and we all went again...this time it was much closer...68-64 in overtime (not a good game for the Raiders or the referees)....

On the way home, Lex said she was going to make a card for the Raiders, so that they do better and win the next game too (they certainly should, it'd be an upset if they lose).  So she sat down over the weekend to make one...even Kieran helped...

I delivered the card this morning to someone who can get it to the players....All three are committed to this team...it'll be fun to see where it leads...section semi-final game tomorrow night in Mankato!
